Please join us for General John Stark Day at the Stark Family Gravesite to participate in a ceremony to honor the memory of a great Revolutionary War Hero.

Highlights of the event will include a bagpiper, a colonial colorguard, and proclamations from Mayor Gatsas and Gov. Hassan. Our keynote speaker for the event will be Mr. Jack Manning, of the NH Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.

This celebratory date is set by New Hampshire Revised Statutes 4:13-l, which designates the fourth Monday in April as Gen. John Stark Day. “And the governor...shall urge cities and towns throughout the state to observe this day in commemoration of General Stark’s gallant and illustrious service to New Hampshire and his country.”

The event at the park is sponsored by the Friends of Stark Park, the NH Society Sons of the American Revolution, the Molly Stark Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the John Stark Society - Children of the American Revolution.

Members of the public are also invited to a ceremony at 12:30 p.m. at the Caleb Stark Monument at the Dunbarton, NH town hall.
